"The Best" by Enzo Jannacci was published in december, 2006.The album contains the greatest hits from the singer-songwriter's long career.
All songs have been rearranged except those from the album Come gli aeroplani.
Jannacci, as he always did for his Greatest Hits releases, composed 3 unreleased tracks: Rien ne va plus, Mamma che luna che c'era stasera e Il ladro di ombrelli.
In the album there is a new version of Bartali, which Jannacci sings along with the song's author Paolo Conte.
The cover and booklet photos, as well as the arrangements, are by Enzo's son, Paolo Jannacci.
